The Pied Piper
Panel
40.5 x 31 cm
Unframed
This work dates from the artist's last years. The treatment of Mercury's
and Mercury's face can be compared to that of the two women wearing hats
in The Holy Family with People and Animals in a Boat, preserved in the
in the Skokloster Museum (see R.-A. d'Hulst, Jacob Jordaens, Antwerp, 1982, no.
207, reproduced).
