Supple snake bracelet in 18K (750/1000) yellow gold and silver (800/1000), the articulated body chased with scales, the head adorned with turquoise stones and the tail embellished with a turquoise cabochon set off by rose-cut diamonds. Ratchet clasp with safety chain. Probably English, circa 1830-1840. ET hallmark. In a shaped case, monogrammed R.C. Inside wrist circumference: 18.5 cm - Gross weight: 39.20 g (trace of soldering) In the Romantic era of the 19th century, the coiling snake was seen as an illustration of infinite love and the bond between two people.
