18K (750 thousandths) gold pocket watch, white enamel dial with black painted Roman numerals, Arabic minute numerals, Louis XVI hour hand. Back decorated with an enamelled and painted painting of a gallant scene, and inside with a bouquet of flowers. Movement with pierced cock, advance and delay setting rosette, plate signed Lange à Valenciennes, verge escapement, fusée chain system. Watch not functional at time of appraisal, with no guarantee of future operation or condition of parts. Slight crazing on the dial, slight enamel marks on the back, minute hand missing.
