Rare pair of gilt bronze, cloisonné and champlevé enamel altar emblems
Resting on flared circular bases with rounded domes decorated in repoussé with lotus petals, featuring polychrome enamel decoration of stylized lotus petals, flower scrolls and waves, the shafts decorated in high relief with mobile emblems, including "hulu" double gourds, "lingzhi" immortality mushrooms, lotus flower buds with four rows of petals, and a blue and white vase topped by the sacred pearl on one, and the Buddhist conch shell on the other.
