Julia CHIARAMONTI (1984) - Lot 298
Julia CHIARAMONTI (1984)
Chair model Sedia 1 with folded and polished stainless steel sheet forming the back, the seat and the base.
H. 84 cm. - L.: 45.5 cm. - D.: 52 cm.
2023
Note:
Minimalist in its elementary, sculptural lines, sedia1 is a technical performance. The subtle inclination of the backrest places the object in a context of use as much as it distorts the reflection and multiplies the images. This conceptual piece is in keepinǵ with Julia Chiaramonti's work, where functional and artistic research meet. Sedia1 captures light and questions the relationship between the object and its environment.
