Inessa HANSCH (1970) - Lot 41
Inessa HANSCH (1970) Alcove bench from the Seguin collection Preformed and triple folded formwork panel, melamine resin 121 x 150 x 60 cm. Limited edition of 30 pieces 6+2 edition, 2010 Alcove seguin bench Melamine resin coated preformed and triple- folded formwork board 47.64 x 59.06 x 23.62 in. Limited edition Note : - Inessa Hansch's Seguin collection was designed for the temporary garden project on the Ile Seguin in Boulogne-Billancourt. Inspired by Gerrit Rietveld's rustic garden furniture from the 1940s, Inessa designed a range of outdoor furniture in weather-resistant wood panels. The furniture evokes the minimalist creations of Donald Judd, the simplicity of Enzo Mari's self-produced furniture, and the sobriety of the church benches designed by the Dutch Benedictine monk Dom Van der Laan.
