Flat body lock stamped "MRE IMPLE DE VERSAILLES" and punched. Hound with round body. Punched brass fittings. Iron follower. Walnut stock with cheekpiece (small period grooves). Length 64,7. Total length : 103,9 cm. A.B.E. These rifles of period First Empire would have been modified, used by the hunters with foot at the time of the conquest of Algeria.
