Large incense burner in painted enamel on copper
The globular body rests on three curved feet adorned with chimera heads, topped by a straight neck with bourelet, the thick banded lip flanked by two large handles. The whole is embellished with a rich polychrome enamel decoration of green lotus scrolls on a blue background on the body and handles, friezes of ruyi, stylized lotus leaves and scrolls running up the shoulder and neck, and a frieze of grecques on the edge of the lip. The circular lid is surmounted by a lotus bud knob with chased brocade decoration. A four-character Qianlong mark inscribed on a circular plate inside the lid. Light pink enamel inside.

The body is damaged and missing, the enamels are worn, the decoration has been restored, the lid is missing, and the feet have been refixed.
