CHINA, 18th century, Qianlong mark and period Statuette of Amitayus in bronze depicted seated in padmasana, on an openwork quadrangular base, hands in dhyanamudra, wearing a dhoti, adorned with jewelry, face serene, hair styled in a bun and crowned with a tiara. A nine-character incised mark and cyclical Gengyin date from the Qianlong period, corresponding to 1770. 21 x 11 x 9 cm (A mandorla attachment end is missing from the lower part, deformation on the base, wear and oxidation).
