Sarti Sebastian Emigrated to France, Sebastián Sarti now lives in Marseille where his drawing practice has been refined according to various influences: old botanical books, black and white pictures, comic strips, manga, architecture books, photos and illustrations of archaeological discoveries. In his productions, protean characters emerge in the midst of urban landscapes, pre-Columbian masks are adorned and merge with modern symbols... Questioning the societies, the links between people and what conditions them, Sebastián Sarti proposes a work of contemporary design in constant technical and stylistic evolution. From time to time, Sebastián moves away from paper in order to focus on the video but, although the medium of expression changes, the practice of drawing remains: video production is approached only as an extension of his exploration of drawing.
