Debouzie Karine Based on research into the formless, Karine Debouzie's work develops into monumental installations, sculptures, actions, images, whether they be photographs, videos or drawings. Out of a desire to construct the pieces herself and by economy of means, she has begun to divert common materials and to experiment with them generally by cutting, constraint and the play on balance. The installations often take the form of drawings in space on an excessive scale and establish gestures that she records through video. Abstraction takes shape to become an interrogation on the notions of organic, entropy and movement.
