Emile GALLÉ (1846-1904) Artistic bulb-shaped vase on pedestal with red glass body with vertical filaments in the material, powder-coated frame mixed gray spacers shaded green. On the belly, apply a snake in shades of old pink descends the along the vase. Chiseled Art nouveau signature intaglio. H. 16.5 cm D. 9.5 cm This vase, a rare piece, perhaps unique, is not not found in any ancient works to date or recent. Bibliography : There is an example of a snake in the ancient J.B.E.
